Quick Start

Get started with Open Screen in minutes

Download and Install

Download the latest release for your platform from the GitHub Releases page. Available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Grant Permissions

Open System Settings and grant screen recording and accessibility permissions when prompted. These are required for Open Screen to capture your screen.

Start Recording

Launch Open Screen, select your screen or application window, and click the record button. Your recording will start after a 3-second countdown.

Edit and Export

Once finished, edit your recording with zooms, annotations, and effects. Export in your preferred format and resolution.
